This Terms of Use contains the Terms & Conditions governing the joining of Club2040 Pte Ltd ("Club") as a member or client as well as the use of the website www.club2040.com.sg ("Website") owned and operated by Club2040 Pte Ltd with its registered address at No. 150 Neil Road #01-01, Singapore 088879.

By registering to become a member or client of this online club ("Member") and by accessing this website and any pages thereof, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions ("Terms") below.

We may modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms. You agree to review the Terms periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access to or use of the website shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms. The terms "CLUB2040" (or "we", "our" and "us") includes all members, subsidiaries and affiliates of CLUB2040 PTE LTD as well as their successors and assigns.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must meet the following criteria to join as a Member / Client:-

1. SINGLE
2. Age : 20s to 40s years old
3. Educational qualification : Diploma and above
4. Job position : Executive and above
5. All Nationalities

Employment pass holders who meet the above criteria are welcome as well. Membership validity is for a minimum term of 12 months. Interested parties who do not meet the age or educational qualification criteria can still apply, subject to final approval of the Club.

2. MEMBERS / CLIENTS

Interested parties can join the Club either as Member or as Client for the fees as stipulated.

Members

Membership is open to all singles, males and females, who meet the criteria which are set out in Point 1 of our Terms & Conditions. As members of the Club, the services and facilities you can enjoy includes:-

1. Posting your personal information including photos online for fellow members to search for you
2. Exchanging personal messages with fellow members via the Website
3. Searching for and applying to attend events online

Clients

Clients refer to male singles who sign up for our Matchmaking services. Our Matchmaking services are only available to single males who meet the criteria set out in Point 1 of our Terms & Conditions. In addition to getting the services mapped out under our Matchmaking programme, our Clients will also enjoy the same benefits as our Members.

3. FEES

You are required to pay a membership fee when you join Club2040 either as a Member or as a Client. The Club reserves the right to change the membership fee anytime and without prior notice. You are also required to pay to attend events organised by the Club. By default, there will be no refund for termination of membership or withdrawal from events. Possible refunds will be on a case-by-case basis.

Your membership application will be processed upon receipt of your payment. Payment for membership will be via online Credit Cards / Debit Cards only.

The Club will issue you a Club Membership Card when your application has been approved. You are required to produce this card as identification at Club events.

4. CONTENT

1. The Company reserves the right not to accept your application
2. The Company has the full discretion to not accept any member participation at our organised events.
3. You are deemed to agree to use the service in accordance with and in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. You also agree that you will not use the service in any manner which is illegal, immoral or offensive to others.
4. All photos / information provided by you must be accurate and you will not impersonate any person or entity. All materials sent to us are non-returnable and all information given will be treated with strict confidence.
5. You agree to use the services for personal and private use only. You may not use the services for any commercial purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to the sale of goods or services.
6. club2040.com.sg may have links to third party websites to enhance our service to you. We do not control such third-party websites and are not responsible for the content therein. We may from time to time recommend or endorse particular products, services or websites of our official third party partners.

5. EVENTS

The Club will organise suitable events for Members / Clients to join. The Club reserves the right to accept or reject any event application in order to maintain the desired standard of the events.

Organising of events will be by the Club only and no other party third vendors. However, the Club reserves the right to work with third party vendors to co-organise any suitable or larger scale events.

Payment for events is either via online Credit Cards / Debit Cards or Cheque.

6. TERMINATION

The membership agreement can be terminated at any time by either party (the Club and the Member) by email or by any written notice. In the event of Termination by the Club due to breach of any Term or Condition in this Terms of Use by you, the Member, the termination will be immediate and you will not be entitled to any refund of any remaining subscription fee. Termination made by Member must be given 1 month's notice, subject to acceptance of reason given.

• Refund Policy (applicable to termination made by members only)

  By default, there will be no refund for membership termination initiated by members. Consideration of refund will be made on a case-by-case basis.

7. COPYRIGHT POLICY

You may not copy, distribute or reproduce any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other proprietary information without the written consent of the Club and the owners of the relevant rights.

8. DISCLAIMERS

The Company will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damages, injury, sickness or death of Members directly or indirectly incurred in the use of the services of the Website or at our events.

9. LIABILITY

Your use of the service and website is at your sole risk. Our Service is provided on an "As is" and "As available" basis. The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses. The Club's liability (if any) to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will be limited to the amount paid by you to the Club for the service during the term of your membership.

10. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold the Club, its subsidiaries, agents, or other partners and employees harmless for any loss, liability or claims made by any third party arising from your use of the Website, our service or at our events.

11. DISPUTES

You agree that any dispute involved in the use of the Website, our service or at our events among members and the Club will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Essentially, we use your personal information to help increase efficiency to meet your needs. All communications from us or our partners will be disseminated to you by us.

However, should you take part in contests / promotions on the Website sponsored or organized by third parties, your information may be disclosed to and used by such third parties.

Your information will be stored by us. If you wish to correct, change or update your particulars, please login into your account and update the details accordingly. The Club will not update any personal details of members.

We use standard practices to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information within our control. We take every precaution to protect our users' information, especially sensitive information.
